Called to Serve.
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:20
Tuesday Night Mass and Fellowship (TNM&F) is about praising God and enjoying and supporting each other. We pray for those who are ill and for the needs of the parish, and support each other in times of need. Our parish mission statement reads in part, "to build one family united in prayer and love." In the spirit of this statement, TNM&F is a gathering of parishioners, beginning with the regular Tuesday weekday Mass (6:00 PM) and continuing, usually in the Parish Hall, with fellowship where a potluck meal is shared in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Occasionally, the host may host the dinner at their home. All parishioners are welcome to participate in this wonderful, enjoyable evening. The evening usually concludes no later than 8:30 PM.
Cooperative activities and fellowship of the St. Stephen Women's Society ministry encourage spiritual development of its members, our parish, and our community at large. We provide love, friendship and social activities; assist the priest with altar care and sacred vestments; procure items for the church as approved by the priest; provide assistance when possible for parish families in need; and plan and carry out fundraising projects. The Women’s Society supports Catholic Charities, the Salado Family Relief Fund, the St. Stephen Fall Festival, Prayer Chain and Bereavement Ministries, as well as other parish activities and celebrations throughout the year. All women are welcome and encouraged to be a part of this vibrant church ministry.
