Baptism Classes:
Baptismal classes can be scheduled through the Parish Office; please call the office to set up an appointment

• It is highly recommended that people register within the parish when bringing their child to be baptized. If you are registered in another parish, we will need a letter from your pastor to perform the baptism.
• We encourage parents to make it a priority to attend Mass on a regular basis in order to give good witness to the child to be baptized. If one has not been in the parish for a period of 6 months, it would be wise to get a letter from the previous pastor.
• Parents and Godparents must attend a Baptism Class (see above for details).
• We must have a copy of the child's birth certificate for our records. The name on the birth certificate will be used on the Baptismal certificate and in the Sacramental records. This is important since Catholic Baptismal certificates may be used for official civil purposes as well as ecclesial purposes.
• Godparents must be actively practicing Catholics in good standing who have received Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, and are either married in the Church or working towards getting their marriage blessed. Godparents must sign a covenant form provided by the diocese. [Diocesan Policy]
